I think they have a point.
Have you ever tried peeing into a modern urinal basin now almost universally fitted in pubs, the ones shaped like an inverted crash helmet? A torrent of splash back is unavoidable. What's really awfull is that you then have to spend ten minutes dancing in front of the hot air hand dryer to dry your trousers before you dare walk back through the bar to finish your pint.
In the good old days we had full width stainless steel troughs, and a man could stand proud. Sadly those days are gone, and we are increasingly having to display the feminine side of our nature.
Well...I'm with you on stainless steel troughs. We've made steps backwards in urinology since then, but I just wouldn't call it displaying our feminine side to do otherwise! ;o)
